Christina Duncan-Lee

Christina  Duncan-Lee, 75, of Buffalo NY, departed this world and entered Heaven's gates on November 26, 2021 as she was surrounded by family in her daughter's home.

Christina was born June 23, 1946 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Ervin Duncan Sr. and the late Annie Bell Duncan. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Joe Lee; brothers Herbert, Oscar, and Ervin Jr.; sisters, Martha, and Mary.

Christina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends everyday but especially during the holidays.  She loved to cook holiday meals while listening to music with her family gathered around.  Some of her favorite things to do were going to church, tending to her flower garden and relaxing on her porch reading  bible verses or chatting with friends. As a healthcare professional,  she was known for the way she comforted patients in her care.  She would frequently talk about bible verses and praying with them.  Her favorite saying was “ it’s as simple as that.” She will truly be missed.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Friday, December 3, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson. A Repass will follow after the service.

Survivors include daughters, Bettina (Ghanuy) Duncan of Charlotte, NC, and Jo Ann (Marvin Sr.) Gibbs of Harrisburg, NC, son, Dexter Lee Sr. of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Kristina Morris, Marvin (Alease) Gibbs Jr., Brittany (Lawrence) Leefoon, Kayla Lee, Dexter Lee Jr., Demone Lee, Dion Lee, Cameron Wiggins, Dae'jha Lee, and Savveyon Izel Lee; great-grandchildren, Lailah Gibbs, Mackenzie Williams, Kayden Colclough, Kennedy Williams, Konnor Colclough, and Cairo Gibbs; siblings, Moses (Thalma) Duncan, Mary Alice Lee, and Brenda (John) Stewart; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great- nephews.
