Christine Huneycutt

Christine Thomas Huneycutt, 93 of Stanfield, passed away on September 23, 2011 at the Hospice House of Monroe. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 25 at Hartsell Funeral home of Midland from 6 to 8 PM. The funeral will be held Monday, Septermber 26, 2011 at Philadelphia Baptist church at 11 AM officiated by the Rev. Dwight Mabry. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. There will be a 30 minute state. She was born in Anson County on May 4 1918, to the late Lonnie Brasker Thomas and Addie Belle Curlee Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Boone" Huneycutt. She is survived by her sons, Boyd Huneycutt and wife Sheryl of Matthews and Buford Huneycutt of Charlotte; sister, Cornell Sasser of Fort mill, SC; grandchildren, Rodney Huneycutt and wife Gina of Stanfield, and Leslie Rhodes and husband Damon of Locust; and great grandchildren, Eli, Kendrick, Emma and Kyle. Memorials may be made to Philadelphia Baptist church Missions.
