Christopher Doyle

Christopher Scott Doyle, 46, of Stanfield went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2011. The family will receive friends Friday, October 28, 2011, from 6-8 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be Saturday, October 29, 2011, at 11 am at Berea Baptist Church in Stanfield officiated by Rev. Keith Austin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He was born December 22, 1964, to Marcus Paul Doyle of Parkersburg, WV, and the late Geraldine Rita Doyle. He is also preceded in death by one brother, Joseph “Bub” Doyle. He owned Doyle Brothers Drywall with two of his brothers, Timothy "Fritz" Doyle and the late Joseph "Bub" Doyle. He did a lot of work for local churches, police and fire departments, and the communities of Locust and Stanfield. He had a love of camping, fishing, and hunting with his sons. He was very excited about the upcoming birth of his first grandson. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Doyle; two sons, Travis, 25, and wife Mary, and Jordan, 15; three brothers, Mark and Matt of Parkersburg, WV, and Timothy "Fritz" of Stanfield; one sister, Lisa Doyle-Parsons of Vienna, WV; and eight nieces and nephews. He was especially fond of his mother-in-law, Patty Cowan of Parkersburg, WV. Memorials may be made to Hartsell Funeral Home, c/o Scott Doyle account, PO Box 100, Midland, NC 28107.
