Christopher Terrell

Christopher Thomas Terrell, an experienced auto technician and car enthusiast of Charlotte, NC, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 at the age of 42, while being evaluated for a possible lung transplant, while at Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC.

Chris is survived by his loving father and mother, Tommy Terrell, Brenda W. Terrell, sister Nicole C. Terrell, brother-in-law, Heriberto Jimenez, and nephew who adored him and called him his “superhero” with the “jet pack.” He also leaves a host of family and friends from North Carolina, Texas, Chicago, New York, as well as his Car Club families here in Charlotte and surrounding areas.

Many of his Car Club family members often called on his experience, expertise and knowledge whenever they were getting their “babies” ready for various car shows both here and regionally. His Acura TSX was always a favorite and a winner.

Chris was born in Chicago on January 5th, 1978 to Tommy Terrell and Brenda W. Terrell. He graduated from Technical College with a degree in Automotive Technician, which afforded him to be invited to work and join the Hendricks Family and Corporation.

He was a devoted car club member and advocate for several car clubs here in Charlotte. These included Charlotte Acura Group,  Honuracrew and Insane Imports, just to name a few. He was an advocate and consultant, often giving sage advice to club members while preparing for various car shows. Nicole will do her best, with love and support to carry on his great car club legacy.

Finally, the family asks in lieu of flowers and gifts, if you would consider donating to the American Lung and Heart Association, along with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Association on behalf of Chris. Thank you for joining us in this celebration of his life.
