Christy Helms

Christy Cullingford Helms, 60 years of age, of Locust, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Christy was born February 19, 1954 in Charlotte to the late Charles Cullingford Jr. and Madge Lucille Cullingford. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3pm Friday, February 28, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland . The funeral service will follow at 3pm in the funeral home chapel and will be officiated by Pastor Buddy Pigg. Survivors include husband of 42 years, Samuel "Sammy" Neal Helms of Locust; daughter, Leslie Helms of Locust; son, Brandon (Michelle) Helms of Midland, two brothers and two sisters, mother, Madge Lucille Cullingford of Monroe, and four grandchildren Hailee, Emily, Kolby, and Kameron.
