Clara Terry

Clara Edith Terry, 86, of Charlotte, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at University Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Services in Charlotte.

Clara was born August 22, 1935 in Halifax County, Virginia to the late Kent Terry and the late Eliza Terry.
She was also preceded in death by sisters, Mary Friday, Teresa Jenkins, and Myrtle Walters .

Survivors include son, Tommy Lea Terry, Sr. of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Tommy Terry, Jr., Mitzie Terry, and Erica Simmons; great-grandchildren, Miaia, Autumn, and James; and sister, Helen Terry of Mt. Vernon, NY; nieces, Juanita Bowers, Rachael Walters, Lisa Jenkins, Amedia White, Felicia Oliver, Claunisha Walters; and nephews, John Jenkins, Michael Walter, and Dion Terry.

Clara was a simple woman and she was a dedicated and sincere person to family and friends. She enjoyed going to the park and casinos and she worked hard all her life to provide a good life for her family.
