Clara Williams

Clara Marie Williams, age 73, of Albemarle, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle, on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Sam Wilson and Rev. Andrew Ball, will be at Faith Freewill Baptist Church of Albemarle on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Faith Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at sons home. Clara was born on August 29, 1939, to the late Aster Owens and the late Pearl Owens. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by seven brothers, Carson Louis Owens, Lonnie Owens, Thurman Owens, Melvin Owens, Robert Owens and Thomas Owens. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Lynn Morton of Albemarle; a sister, Ruth Biggers; a special nephew, Bobby Owens; and a special sister, Glennie Brady; two grandchildren, Tyler Ryan Mussel White, and Nicholas Morton; and one great grandson.
