Clarence Mauldin

Clarence Melvin " Amos" Mauldin, age 85, of Albemarle, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Friday, May 31, 2013 from 10:00am until 11:00am. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Leslee Wray and Rev. Jeff Rushing, will follow at 11:00am in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. At other times, the family will meet at his home. Clarence was born on August 29, 1927 in Albemarle, to the late Milas Furman Mauldin and the late Lucy Hopkins Mauldin. He is also preceded in death by his wife in 2013, Ezelle Doby Mauldin; and five brothers and three sisters. He is survived by a daughter, Beth Hill and husband Tommy of Albemarle; two grandchildren Mitch Laton and wife Mary Ann of Albemarle, Brooke Senter and husband Neil of Albemarle; three great grandchildren, Austin and Dylan Laton, and Mia Senter; two sisters, Lucille Poplin of Norwood and Wilma Dennis of Albemarle.
