Claude Barringer

Claude William Barringer, age 48 of 210 S. Link Street, Salisbury, NC, passed away on October 10, 2010 at WG Bill Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Tuesday from 6 to 8. At other times the family will be at the home of his father, Willie, 28349 Hwy 73, Albemarle. Funeral service will be in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel on Wednesday at 11 AM. Rev. Sam Wilson will officiate and burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory. Military honors will be conducted by Stanly County DAV, Chapter 12. Born in Stanly County on September 19, 1962, he is the son of Willie Lee Barringer and Annie Hatley Barringer of Albemarle. He served in the US Army for 4 years. He is survived by a brother, Rodney Barringer and wife Mary Ann of Norwood and 2 nieces, Lee Ann and Hunter.
