Claude Miller

Claude Edward Miller, 88 years of age, of Richfield, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center-Main in Charlotte.

Mr. Miller was born February 27, 1927 in Stanly County to the late Adam Lovelace Miller and the late Ada Arlene Kirk. He was also preceded in death by wife, Martha Ruth Vanhoy Miller.

The family received friends from 6:00PM - 8:00PM , Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 6:00PM at Mt. Creek Primitive Baptist Church on Mountain Creek Road in New London; officiated by Pastor Branan Hooven. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include son, Tony Miller of Stanfield; daughter, Barbara (Ricky) Wilson of Mt. Airy; granddaughters, Krystle Miller, and Laura Leftwich and husband Josh; grandson, Matthew (Hannah) Miller; great grandchildren Branson, Jaxon, Ainsley, Houston, Skylar, Hannah and Arissa.
