Claudette Clawson-Crump

Claudette Marie Clawson-Crump, 80 years of age, of Concord, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Clawson-Crump was born March 7, 1935 in North Carolina to the late Ray Pemberton Blackwelder and the late Amy Elizabeth Blackwelder. She was also preceded in death by first husband, Kenneth Clawson; her son, Tony Moore; her two sisters, Faye Hill and Lynn Honeycutt.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Mike Davis. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
Survivors include husband, Leon James Crump of Concord; daughters, Rhonda (Harold) Sunday of Concord and Kim Barbee of Concord; son, Robert (Sheila) Moore, Jr. of Concord; brother, Charles "Butch" (Mona) Blackwelder of Richfield Springs, NC; step-daughter, Susan (Ricky) Metcalf of Iron Station, NC; step sons, Bobby (Carol) Crump of Iron Station, NC, Jamie (Angie) Crump of Iron Station, NC; three biological grandchildren, Michelle Harper, Kenneth Barbee, and Sheree Wensil and twenty grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
