Claudie Mabe

Claudie Dale Mabe, 81 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at CMC-Main in Charlotte. Claudie was born October 17, 1931 in Stanly County to the late Derry McKinley Mabe and the late Lallie Bee Morton Mabe. He was also preceded in death by brothers, RJ and Rowland Mabe. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, August 12, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Plyler Baptist Church, with a 30 minute state. Rev. Bryan Franklin will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, with military honors conducted by the Stanly County DAV, Chapter 12. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Beulah Ann Lambert Mabe; two daughters, Rebecca M. Evans and husband Jonathan, and Susan M. Rea and husband Todd; four grandchildren, Justin Evans, Emily Evans Koury, Lindsey Rea, and Erica Rea; and their beloved Boxer, Brandy. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Mabe family.
