Clyde Freeman Jr.

Clyde Hamilton Freeman Jr., 87, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 at Atrium Health Stanly.

Mr. Freeman was born April 1, 1933 in Mecklenburg County to the late Clyde Hamilton Freeman Sr. and Myrtle Porterfield Freeman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Freeman.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM - 4:45 PM, Saturday, September, 12 ,2020 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Pastor Joe Smith.

Survivors include daughters, Angela (Eric) Crisco, Crystal Lee Huneycutt (Richard), and Sherrie Lynn Freeman; grandbabies, Makayla Stinson, Kayce Stinson, Cara Mae " LoLo"  Huneycutt, and Caleb "Tommy" Huneycutt.

Mr. Freeman proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Freeman family.
