Clyde Ray Herrin, 59 years of age, of Locust, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
Ray was born July 23, 1955 in Stanly County to the late Clyde Eugene Herrin and Mary Odessa Herrin.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 3:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Oakboro officiated by Dr. Wayne Bennett. There will be a 30 minute state prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 17236 Frog Pond Road, Oakboro, NC.
Survivors include wife, Patty Lafay Herrin of Locust; mother, Mary Odessa Herrin of Oakboro; sister, Linda Morgan and husband, Paul of Indian Trail; and numerous nieces and nephews.
