Clyde Porter

Clyde Hampton Porter, 77, of Concord, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at home. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Monday, July 16, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Jimmy Barrett, will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. At other times the family will meet at his home. Clyde was born on May 2, 1935, to the late Clyde Porter and the late Sara Kathern Trull Heighler. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Smith Porter; two daughters, Pamela Calloway and husband, Bo and Beverly Hinson and husband, Scott, all of Concord; a sister, Shirley Ramsey and husband, Larry; three grandchildren, Brandon Calloway and wife, Kerri, Chad Calloway and wife, Rachel and Brantley Clayton and wife, Devin; and three great-grandchildren, Avery Calloway, Cole Calloway and McConnor Raffaldt.
