Clyde Suggs

Clyde Austin Suggs, 72, of Lexington, NC , passed away Monday, August 5, 2019  at the VA Home of, Salisbury NC.  Clyde was born on April 5, 1947 to Clyde Suggs Sr. and Edna Suggs Britt.
Survivors include, his beloved mother, Edna Britt; brothers, Dr. Theodore "Ted" Suggs (Ann), Richard Suggs (Sherry), Douglas Suggs (Carlotta), Jerry Suggs (Kim), sisters; Rhonda Worth (James), Patti Suggs, and many nieces and nephews.

Clyde is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served as a military policeman.  After the military, he worked doing office work for Freightline Trucking and later retired from construction work in both commercial and residential. Clyde was an avid outdoorsman with a love for hunting and fishing.  He loved fast cars and motorcycling.  Over the years, he had many dogs with a special love for his dog, "Cocoa".

In honor of Clyde's wishes, there will be a memorial service which will include immediate family only.  In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the VA Home of Salisbury.  The family would like to especially thank the many caretakers of the VA Home, as well as Pruitt Health Hospice.
