Connie Honeycutt
July 19, 1923 — April 19, 2016
Connie "Odell" Honeycutt, 92 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at First Assembly Living Center in Concord.
Mrs. Honeycutt was born July 19, 1923 in Gastonia, NC to the late Ed Killian and the late Vernie Killian. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. George Honeycutt in 1963; as well as brothers Marvin, William and Clyde Killian.
Survivors include son, Larry Franklin Honeycutt and wife, Catherine; son, Gary Anderson Honeycutt and wife, Connie; daughter, Linda Honeycutt Smith and husband, Stan, all of Concord; grandson, Larry Honeycutt, Jr., granddaughters, Crystal Honeycutt Roach and Amber Honeycutt; grandsons, Charles Belk and David Smith; great-grandsons, Matthew Honeycutt, Riley Honeycutt and Jody Roach; great-granddaughters, Emily Honeycutt, April Honeycutt, Mary Roach and Bailey Medlin, as well as great-great grandson Henry Honeycutt.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Friday at 1:00 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Concord officiated by Rev. Ray Rivenbark and Rev. Buck Canupp. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church.
