Cora Ann Clippard, 77 years of age, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at her residence.
Cora was born November 1, 1938 in Lebanon, Virginia to the late Nellus and Edna Buchanan and was raised in Avery County NC. She was also preceded in death by husband, Kelly Clippard and brother, Edgar Buchanan.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Harvest Church Harrisburg, 7155 Hickory Ridge Rd., Harrisburg The funeral service will begin 11:00 am, officiated by Pastor Mike Parks. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park Harrisburg, 12025 University City Blvd., Charlotte.
Survivors include daughter, Janie (Ricky) Furr of Mount Pleasant, NC; grandson, Philip Furr of Mt. Pleasant, NC; two brothers, Dennis Buchanan of Mooresville, NC and Harold "Buck" Buchanan of High Point, NC.
