Coy Hatley

Coy Kenneth Hatley, 89, of 66 Kentucky Ave Concord, passed away on September 22, 2011 at Carebridge Assisted Living, Mt. Pleasant. He was born on November 16, 1921 in Stanly County to the late Charles C. Hatley and Ethel Almond Hatley. He was also preceded in death by his wife Helen Kathleen Wetter Hatley in 2001. Mr. Hatley was a loom fixer at Cannon Mills and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 A.M. at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Saturday, September 24th, 2011. The graveside service will follow at 11:30 A.M. at Friendship United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant, with Pastor Dale Bost officiating. Mr. Hatley is survived by: sons, Dennis Hatley of Concord, Terry Hatley of Hendersonville; brother Charles Hatley, Jr; sisters, Lois Hinson, Callie Barrier, Georgie Wetter; grandchildren Mindy Hatley Campbell, Gavin Blake Hatley; and seven great grandchildren.
