Crealmer Drye

Crealmer Arey Drye, 92 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at her residence.

Crealmer was born June 30, 1922 in Rowan County, North Carolina to the late Charles Whitson Arey and the late Esther Bolton Arey. She was also preceded in death by her husband who died on Nov 7, 1999, Felix Manteo Drye, Sr.; son-in-law, Terry Moore; three sisters; and two brothers

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Judith B. Drye and Rev. Beau Linker. Burial will follow at the Fairview Memorial Park, 1425 East Main Street, Albemarle.

Survivors include daughter, Barbara Moore of Albemarle, NC; son, Felix (Phil) M. Drye, Jr.and wife Judy of Sanford; daughter, Miriam Huneycutt and husband Rick of Concord; sister, Mildred Ross of Albemarle; brother-in-law, A.D. Drye of Albemarle; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Crealmer was a homemaker and a member of Badin UMC. The family will be at her home, 1002 Avondale Avenue, Albemarle N.C. 28001
