Crystal Medlin

Crystal LeeAnn Medlin, 42, of Stanfield, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Crystal was born August 12, 1979 in Concord to the late Terry Lee Medlin and Judy Ann Blackwelder Medlin.  She was also preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Cranford and Ruby Morgan and Riley and Sara E. Blackwelder; maternal grandparent, Roy Lee Blackwelder; and paternal grandparents, Melvin and Hazel Medlin.

Survivors include mother, Judy Ann Blackwelder Medlin of Stanfield; maternal grandmother, Shirley Morgan Shepard (and Floyd Smith) of Stanfield; "sister," Debra Ross of Stanfield; "brother," Randy Simpson of Richfield; aunt, Patty Cato of Stanfield; "nieces," Alana and Emma; and "nephew," Austin Lee.

We were so blessed to have Crystal with us.  She was the closest thing to an angel you'd meet on Earth.  Crystal was fun-loving and her laugh was unforgettable.  She enjoyed getting her hair brushed and listening to music.  She also loved riding in the car and going to the beach.

A graveside service in celebration of Crystal's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Clark's Grove Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Stanfield.
