Curtis Hill, Jr

Curtis Chapman Hill, Jr., 85, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at his home in Monroe. Mr. Hill was born September 13, 1927 in Union County to the late Curtis Chapman Hill, Sr. and Grace Benzora Williams Hill. He was also preceded in death by two sisters. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 7608 Concord Highway, Monroe officiated by Rev. Charles Broadway and Rev. Dr. Ken Thomas. Survivors include his wife, Betty Love Clontz Hill; brother-in-law Gary Clontz of Mint Hill; sister-in-law, Polly Knight of Indian Trail; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Presbyterian Preschool, 7608 Concord Hwy., Monroe, NC 28110. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Hill family.
