Cynthia Barnes

Cynthia Barnes, 59, of Concord, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011, at the Levine Hospice House in Huntersville. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Barnes was born on June 30, 1952, to Shirley Stutts Mitchell and the late Harold Abernathy Mitchell. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Lee Barnes of the home; three sons, Kenneth Outen and Tommy Barnes, Jr. of Concord and Jeremy Barnes of Albemarle; a daughter, Melissa Outen of Buffalo, NY; three sisters, Sheree Summey of Mathews, Connie Scher and Debbie Elmaldy of Huntersville; and a brother, Michael Mitchell of Harrisburg. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Barnes family.
