Cynthia Thomas

Cynthia Thomas, age 58 of 564 Viking Place, Concord, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011at her home. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 6pm until 8pm. The funeral service will be Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 11am at Roberta Baptist Church in Concord with the Rev. Steve Pennington officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis, NC. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home. Mrs. Thomas was born in Cabarrus County on December 30, 1952 to the late Carl Lee Broome and the late Doris Ann Garmon Broome. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Mick Broome. She is survived by her husband , Marshall Lee Thomas of the home; son, Jerry Drake, Jr. and wife Amy of Concord; daughter, Cindy Hastings and husband Gary Hastings, II of Concord; brothers, Bobby Garmon, and Carl Broome both of Concord; sisters, Carlene Furr and Jody White both of Concord; grandchildren, Madison "Meat" Hastings, Megan "Ms. Meggie" Drake, Caroline "Lil Bubbles" Hastings and Alyson "Lil Bit" Drake all of Concord; Dog, Mocha Gyn Thomas. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Thomas family.
