Cynthia "Cindy" Faggart

July 17, 1959 — July 28, 2019

Cynthia "Cindy" Helms Faggart, 60, of Concord, NC beloved wife, mother and "mom-mom," passed away peacefully Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Tucker Hospice House with her devoted husband of 35 years RD Faggart by her side.

Cindy was born July 17, 1959 to the late Dwight and Chloe Helms.

She was a graduate of Central Cabarrus High School class of 1977. Upon graduation she was employed with the Cabarrus County School system as a teacher's assistant. She cherished 33 years of memories teaching kindergarteners. She retired in 2009 and devoted herself to caring for her mother until she passed away in 2014.

Cindy loved her family and friends deeply. She entertained all in her presence with her dry sense of humor and quick wit. She filled our hearts with countless unforgettable memories of joy and laughter. Her greatest pleasure was family time on Sunday afternoons with her husband, her children and their spouses, and grandchildren. Cindy's grandchildren were her source of delight and joy. She passionately enjoyed capturing " Kodak moments" of those she loved, and took pride in her neatly labeled and organized photo album collection.

Cindy also enjoyed reading great books, summer vacations with her family, traveling with friends, strolling botanical gardens, fluttering butterflies, and Folklore Fairies.
Her final life lesson plan was taught and completed as she displayed to her family and friends how to courageously face adversity. She bravely battled cancer with strength, grace and humility and emerged victorious as she left this temporary earthly life and entered her heavenly home with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Cindy's family and friends will forever be touched and blessed by her life.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 29, 2019 from 6pm  -8pm at Central Station Cowboy Church, 11777,Hwy 601,Midland,NC,28107 .
