Daniel Mark Borleis, 60 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016.
Danny was born November 7, 1955 in Baltimore, MD to the late Carl Donald Borleis and the late Geraldine Single Borleis. He was also preceded in death by one brother.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Mary Proko Borleis; twin children, Brandon and Brooke; three sisters and one brother; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Danny was a devoted husband and father. He was a hard worker and always provided for his family. Danny was a dedicated Fedex employee for 28 years, and recently retired in November of 2015. He was loved by all customers on his daily route. He received the 25 Year Safe Driver Award and numerous other recognition awards. In his spare time he loved traveling with his family, taking pride in his yard work, and enjoyed attending local car shows and cruise-ins. He was a member of Victory Lane Corvette Club where he made many friendships. Danny's kind heart and outgoing personality will be dearly missed by all those he encountered.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, April 22, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Tim Newton. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis, NC.
