Daniel Kirks

Daniel Kirks, 74 years of age, of Concord, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a military man and a member of Kerr Memorial Baptist Church in Concord.

Kirks was born June 6, 1943 to the late Billy D. Kirks and the late Olee Kirks. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Kirks and his sisters, Betty Thomas and Rose Mary Kirks.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord, NC. The funeral service will be held afterward at 1:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service.

Survivors include daughter, Angela Kirks and son-in-law, Donald Roses, of Concord, NC; sister, Bernice Will; brother, Billy Kirks, Jr.; granddaughters, Jessica Rogers Peck and Amber Rogers; as well as two great-grandchildren.
