Daniel Morton

Daniel Wayne Morton, age 29, passed away at Stanly Regional Medical Center on Monday, May 7, 2012. The family will receive friends and have a memorial service at his home at 204 Bear Claw Road, Oakboro, NC, on Friday, May 11, 2012, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Born December 11, 1982, in Cabarrus County, he is preceded in death by his mother, Vickie Price Belk, and his maternal grandmother, Betty Page Price. Daniel is survived by his parents, Donnie Wayne Morton and Connie Joy Pope Morton, of Oakboro; two sons, Darren Morton of Midland and Dustin Morton of Concord; one brother, Adam Morton, of Oakboro; two step brothers, Christopher Morton and Wallace Peele, both of Oakboro; and paternal grandparents, James and Dorothy Morton, of Midland.
