Daniel Sasser

Daniel Junior Sasser, 87 years of age, of Albemarle , passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016 at First Assembly Living Center in Concord.

Mr. Sasser was born May 25, 1929 in Stanly County to the late Daniel Baxter Sasser and the late Lillie Earnhardt Sasser. He was also preceded in death by two infant sisters and a brother-in-law, Lonnie Poole. Daniel attended Albemarle High School and was a former employee of the NC Department of Transportation.

A private graveside service for the family will be officiated by Rev. Ron Honeycutt.

Survivors include brother, Doug (Christeen) Sasser of Oakboro; sister, Sue Sasser Poole of Charlotte; a niece, Christie (Ron) Honeycutt; and two nephews, Reggie (LeAnn) Sasser and Randy Poole; a great niece, Ashley Honeycutt; and two great nephews, Zach (Cindi) Honeycutt and Corey Sasser.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
