Danielle "Nelly" Layton

Danielle "Nelly" Nichole Layton, 29, of Salisbury, NC, formerly of Binghamton, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 14, 2023.

Nelly was born January 26, 1993 in Binghamton, NY to the late Kirk Douglas Layton Jr. and Tammy Lynn Rayburn.
She was also preceded in death by her cousin, Mercedes Backus.

In addition to her mother, Tammy; she also leaves behind to cherish her memory, her step father, Andy Merritt; grandmother, Cheri Rayburn; sister, Brandy Layton; brother and sister-in-law, Anthony Colon and wife Ashley Irving; brother, Kirk Layton; fiancé, Gunner Brown; nieces, Kristina, Mya, Lailynn and Arya; and her special best friend, Maddie Willis; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.  Also, her many co-workers and patients at Dr. Ney's dental office meant the world to her. Danielle will be missed everyday of this life.  Her infectious laugh and smile would light up any room she walked into.  She touched everyone's life she came in contact with.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, 460 Branchview Dr., Concord, NC, 28025.
