Danny Collins

Danny Maurice Collins, age 51, of 2360 Holly Hill Court NW Concord, NC 28027 passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2011 at his home. Mr. Collins was born on October 1, 1959 in Cabarrus County. Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his mother Katherine Taylor Collins. He was a heavy equiptment operator in construction. Danny was a veteran of the US Army. The family meeting place will be at the home of his father, 2350 Helen Drive in Concord. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Friday, June 24, 2011 from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 11 AM, with Rev. Virginia Herron officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Linker Collins of the home; father, Ransom “Peewee” Collins; son, Jason Daniel Collins; brothers, Guy Clayton Collins and wife Charlotte; James Michael Collins and wife Missy; sister, Sue Riley Frieze and husband Wayne; step-children, Kristen McRorie, Joshua McRorie and William J.
