Danny Hinson

Danny William Hinson, 62 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte surrounded by his loving family. Danny was the son of Mary Ramelle Barbee Hinson of Oakboro and the late Floyd William Hinson. He leaves behind a wife of 43 years, Brenda Turner Hinson; two daughters, Dana H. Ramsey and husband, Tony and Amanda H. Morgan and husband, Jeff of Albemarle; five grandchildren whom he adored, Nikki, Daniel and Madison Carpenter, Corey and Emma Morgan and a great grand daughter, Lindsay Litaker; two brothers, Terry Floyd Hinson and wife, Fran and Eddie Van Hinson and wife, Bronnie of Oakboro; four nephews and two nieces. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Don Phillips will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 15, 2013 at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Albemarle where he was a member. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times the family will meet at the home on St. Martin Road. Danny worked for over 20 years as a foreman with Davey Tree Company in Charlotte. He also worked for Signature Packaging Company and most recently for AExcellent Telecommunications. Memorials may be made to St. Martin's Lutheran Church, PO Box 429, Oakboro, NC 28129.
