Danny Plummer

Danny Ray Plummer, 70, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Danny was born April 6, 1952 in North Carolina to the late Henry Roscoe Plummer and the late Vivian Dell James Plummer.

The family will receive friends from  10:00 am - 10:45 am, Saturday, October 29, 2022,  at Broadus Memorial Baptist Church. The memorial service will follow on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 11:00 am at Broadus Church in Concord officiated by Pastor Rodney Quesenberry.

Survivors include wife, LaNita Mullis Plummer of Albemarle, NC; sons, Kip Ray Plummer and Kelly Ross (Lauren) Plummer; grandchildren, Karolyne and Andrew; sister, Debbie (David) Ward.

Danny graduated from Central Cabarrus High School and in later years was a volunteer with the school. He was an instructor at the Career Center in Union County and served 20 years in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Building Standards. Danny was a devoted husband and father and a good neighbor and Corgi walker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Encounter Christ Church in Red Cross and Broadus Church in Concord.
