Darlene Wade

Ember Darlene Fletcher Wade, 79 years of age, of Concord, NC, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013 at CMC-Northeast. Darlene was born February 10, 1934 in Cabarrus Co. to the late Carl Darlington Fletcher and the late Ruby D. Fletcher . She was also preceded in death by husband, Bob Wade. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church where she was a pianist for 42 years. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The funeral service will be Sunday at 3:00 pm at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Concord, and will be officiated by Pastors Curtis Parker, Allen Montgomery, and Jimmy Hall. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Survivors include daughters Patti Eury and husband John of Concord, Terri Christenbury and husband Terry of Midland, NC; son, Jamie Wade and wife Annalee of Concord; granddaughter, Beth Carpenter and husband Shane; grandson, John Jacob Eury of Concord, grandson, Trent Christenbury, sister, Alice Chase and husband Paul, stepsister, Doris Christy and husband, William, of Mt. Ulla, NC. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Wade family.
