Darrell Dennis

Darrell Gene Dennis, 60 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015, in Albemarle.

Darrell was born August 22, 1954 in Stanly County to Hugh Gene Dennis and Pansy Jeanette Barbee Dennis. He was also preceded in death by his wife who died in 2005, Sheila Diane Dennis.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 7:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. David A. McCauley.

Survivors include two sons, Adrian Dennis of Norwood and Derek (Lori) Dennis of Albemarle; brother, Danny Dennis of Albemarle; and seven grandchildren.
