Darrell Huneycutt

Darrell Ray Huneycutt, 39 years of age, of Locust, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.

Darrell was born September 6, 1974 in Stanly County to Donald Odell Huneycutt, Sr. and Brenda Joyce Huneycutt of Stanfield. He was preceded in death by a brother, Timmy Ray Huneycutt.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Dr. Kinney Wallace and Rev. Kevin Munson, will be at 3:00 PM, Friday, April 25, 2014 in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, Albemarle, NC. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Millingport Road, Locust, NC.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Shannon Raffaldt Huneycutt of Locust; sons, Channing and Jacob Huneycutt and daughter, Mackenzie Huneycutt of the home; brother, Donald Huneycutt, Jr. of Locust; sisters, Lisa Huneycutt and Lori Huneycutt of Locust; Tammy Morton and Robin Carter of Oakboro, Tina Dennis and Amy Goodman of Albemarle, and Carolyn Pittman of Ellerbee; and several nieces and nephews.
