Darrell Lambert

Darrell Wayne Lambert, age 37 of Albemarle, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center of Albemarle. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Thursday, February 23 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 24 at Canton Baptist Church at 4:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Mark Mabry. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Don Layton, Dwayne Huneycutt, Randy Lambert, Danny Lambert, Brian Burleson and Brian Mills, will serve as pallbearers. Darrell was born in Stanly County on December 12, 1974, to Josephine Lee Lambert of Albemarle and the late Jimmie Darrell Lambert. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Lisa Childers and her husband Richard of New London and Beverly Perry and her husband Michael of Stanfield; and three nieces, Jessica Forrest, Kellie Childers and Courtney Perry. Darrell was a 1993 graduate of West Stanly High School. He was employed at Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company and enjoyed spending time at the gym and riding his Harley.
