Darren Hussey

Darren Lee Hussey, 59, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Mr. Hussey was born November 25, 1961 in Kingsville, Texas to George Owen Hussey and Rosanne Payton Keen.

He was also preceded in death by his brother Douglas Owen Hussey.

Darren was a member of Bethel Weslyan Church and The Second Mile Christian motorcycle Association. Darren was an awesome son and brother with a big heart. He never met a stranger and loved everyone, especially children. He was very talented and loved to paint and color. His coloring gave him joy and he loved to share them with his friends. He was able to do his coloring up to the very end. His smile would light up the room and melt your heart.

Family will be receiving friends at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Bethel Wesleyan Church, 4036 Old Salisbury-Concord Road, Kannapolis, NC 28083 and a memorial service will follow at 11:00 am. The service will be officiated by the Rev. Joe Harding.

Survivors include mother, Rosanne Payton Keen of Concord, NC, father, George Owen Hussey of Stafford, VA, brother, David Wayne Hussey of Concord, NC, girlfriend, Laura Hassan of Mooresville, NC.
