David Bost

David Lawrence “Bill” Bost, 80, of Denton, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Stanly Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle prior to the service on Friday, January 11, 2013, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Faron Overton, will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel, Albemarle, on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory. Mr. Bost was born on May 10, 1932, to the late Wordie D. Bost and the late Lillie Bost. He is also preceded in death by a grandchild, Danny. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Annie Brock Bost of the home; six children, Billy Ray Bost, Tammie Elliott, Ricky Bost, Cindy Champion, Kenny Bost; two step children, Sandra Thompson and Monte Robertson; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and five step grandchildren. David was a retired veteran from the Army. He served in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Bost was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
