David Dennis

David Reid Dennis, 49, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011, in Presbyterian – Main, Charlotte, NC. Mr. Dennis was born November 22, 1961, in Mecklenburg County, NC. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Dennis, Sr. He was self-employed as an auto body technician. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27 at Hartsell Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. The service will be 2 pm Monday, February 28 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. At other times the family will be meeting at his home. Survivors are his mother, Frances Eugenia McGuirt Dennis of Mint Hill; daughter, Elizabeth Dennis and Jason Hicks of Mint Hill; brothers, Jack Dennis, Jr. and Katie and Scott Dennis and Tammie, both of Mint Hill; sisters, Teresa Dennis and Chip of Mint Hill, Cheryl Byland and Glen of Tampa, Florida, Beth Johnson and Eric of Mint Hill; mother of Elizabeth Dennis, Janine Dennis of Conway; and 13 nieces and nephews. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Dennis family.
