David Hopkins

Mr. David Ray Hopkins, age 53, of Palestine, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at his home. He was born on August 29, 1957 in Stanly County to Ernest Daniel Hopkins and Thelma Jean Dry Britt, both of Albemarle. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 4, 2011 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. No services are planned. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Hopkins, of Albemarle; daughters, Chrystal Hopkins and Angela Moore, both of Albemarle; step-daughter, Kanda Morton, of Oakboro; step-son, Lynn Joe Prevatt, of Albemarle; brother, Dale Hopkins, of Albemarle; and sisters, Darlene and Debbie Morgan.
