David Lefler

David Lee Lefler, 71 of Cabarrus County passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at home with his family. Mr. Lefler was born October 14, 1941 Cabarrus County to the late Stamey Lee Lefler and Elma Naomi McManus Lefler “Tess”. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 28, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Mill Grove United Methodist Church, 13659 Highway 601, Midland, NC 28107. Rev. Arval Rushing and Rev. Bob Sturge will officiate. He will be buried at Mill Grove Methodist Church Cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at his home Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years Kitty McIntyre Lefler; three daughters, Kristie Lefler Brown and husband Mike, Marcia Lefler Hooks and husband Frankie, and Joye Lefler; grandchildren, Jeffrey Hooks and wife Stephanie, Aaron Hooks, Lindsey Hooks, Colten Brown, Bailey Pethel, Mckenna Brown, Jason Wallace and wife Kristen, Jackie Wallace; and two great grandchildren, Alexa Hooks and Layla Hooks. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County or Mill Grove United Methodist Church.
