David Lefler

David “Chad” Lefler, 33, of Albemarle, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 11, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The funeral will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Kannapolis. Chad was born on February 24, 1979, to Cheryl Ann Wise Lefler and the late David Lewis Lefler. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Walter Jackson Lefler; and his maternal grandmother, Mary Catherine Wise; cousin, Jeremy Gray; and aunts, Cathy Gray and Cookie Lefler. Along with his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Alisha Lefler of Concord and Catherine “Darlene” Stegall of Kannapolis; a brother, James Darrell Lefler of Albemarle; his girlfriend, Whitney McGirt of Albemarle; a daughter, Morgan Weatherby; paternal grandmother, Sadie “Darlene” Lefler of Concord; five nieces and nephews; special cousins, Roger Gresham, Shannon Lefler, Heather Lefler and Cassie Measamer; numerous other cousins, aunts and uncles; and friends, Megan and Ryan Stiller.
