David Lefler

Mr. David Lewis Lefler, 55, of Concord, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at his home. He was born on November 7, 1955 in Cabarrus County to the late Walter Jackson Lefler, Sr. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Cathy Gray and "Cookie" Gresham. David was of the Baptist faith and a warehouse manager for Lefler Electronics. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 9 until 10 AM. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 10 AM, with Rev. Roger Bostic offiiating. Burial will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery at 12 Noon. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Simpson Mullis Lefler, of Concord; mother, Darlene Whittington Lefler of Concord; first wife, Cheryl Lefler of Midland; sons, Chad Lefler, of Concord and Darrell Lefler, of W VA; daughters, Alisha Lefler, of Concord and Darlene Stegall, of W VA; step-children, Blain Simpson, Maranda Simpson and Tabetha Cannon; brother, Jackie Lefler and wife Pam, of Concord; sister, Trina Safrit and husband Dale, of Concord; and six grandchildren.
