David Stroud

David Conward Stroud, 90, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Transitional Health Services in Kannapolis.

Mr. Stroud was born June 14, 1930 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina to the late Lucas Mae Stroud and the late Mary Griggs Stroud. He was also preceded in death by son, David Stroud, Jr., sister, Miriam S. Rattliff.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 2 to 4 pm on December 3, 2020 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. Burial will be at the Salisbury National Cemetery at 501 Statesville Blvd. (202 Government Rd. during construction), Salisbury, NC on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 9am with the Reverend Mitchell Cook officiating.

Survivors include wife, Lillian Stroud of Mount Pleasant, NC, brother, James C. Stroud (Shirley) of Charlotte, NC, grandson, Chris Stroud of New London, NC, granddaughter, Lindsey Stroud Eudy of Albemarle, NC; also surviving are three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter and numerous nephews and nieces.
