Deana Morton

Deana Leigh Morton, 39 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Deana was born October 11, 1973 in Stanly County to the late James Floyd Gregory and Delores Ann Gregory of Albemarle. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Steve Barbee will be at 4:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Gleaning Mission Church in Oakboro. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle. She is survived by her mother, Ann Gregory of Albemarle; spouse, Michael Hunt of Albemarle; daughters, Sara, Katelin and Chloe and son, Chance Hunt all of Albemarle; brother, Christopher Gregory of Albemarle; sister, Heather Barbee and husband, Phillip of Oakboro; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Sanders of Albemarle; two nieces, Savanna Barbee and Raven Hunt; three nephews, Luke Barbee, Jaxon Barbee, and Dale Smith; and in laws, Linda and Jerry Harward of New London.
