Deborah Dion

Deborah Kay Dion, 50, of Concord, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. Loving mother, daughter, sister and Nana to her family. At other times the family will be meeting at the home of her father at 250 College Circle Concord. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Saturday, November 26th from 6 until 8 pm. The funeral service will be at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord Chapel on Sunday, November 27th at 2 pm, with Rev. Leroy Grant officiating. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery. Deborah was born on July 25, 1961 in Biloxi, Mississippi, to Lee Alexander Barbee, Sr. and the late Evelyn Louise Christy Barbee. She was a self-employed jewelry sales person. Deborah is survived by: sons, Bryan Scott Griffin of Concord, and James Keith Griffin of Charlotte; father, Lee A. Barbee, Sr. of Concord; brothers, Lee A. Barbee, Jr. of Concord, Brian Keith Barbee of Denton, and Robert Craig Barbee New London; sister, Jeannie Barbee Osborne of Conway, SC; as well as 4 grandsons, James Keith Griffin, Jr., Jordan Tyler Griffin, Lincoln Scott Griffin, and Noah Bryan Griffin.
