Deborah Fairbanks

Deborah Lynn Grogan Fairbanks, 56, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, June 06, 2011, in Levine Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC. Ms. Fairbanks was born January 15, 1955 in Anderson County, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her father, Wade Hampton Grogan; her mother, Pearline Hester Jordan Grogan; and brothers, Kenneth and Tommy Grogan. She was a training officer in the U. S. Air Force. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland. Survivors include her daughter, Delia Newman of Charlotte; son, Kenny Brown of Panama City Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Aaron Penny, Ellijah Newman, and Keighlauni Newman; brothers Rodney Grogan and Brian Grogan, both of Greenville, SC, Bruce Grogan and Christopher Grogan both of Panama City Beach, Florida; and sisters, Dora Nold of Greenville and Cathy Thompson of Panama City. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Fairbanks family.
