Deborah Joy Weaver Langston - Debbie as she is so affectionately called went home to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, November 11, 2010 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord, NC. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Rev.Arthur Franklin and Mildred Darlene Bevil Weaver. Also preceded in death by brother Paul Weaver, a sister Mary Panchy, and a stepdaughter Jazmin Langston. Debbie was born on October 21, 1959 and is survived by her husband, Rodney L. Langston of Concord, NC; one daughter, Jamie Lauze of Athens, GA; five sisters, Carol Wessels of Sidney, NY, Martha Phillips of Ithaca, NY, Esther Riewerts of Ocoee, FL, Melodie Lewis of Barre, VT, and Rachel Bassett of Hyde Park,VT; six brothers, David Weaver of Kinston, NC, Stephen Weaver of Corith, NY, Daniel Weaver of Amsterdam, NY, James Weaver of Springfield, VA, Michael Weaver of Charlotte, NC, and Johnathan Weaver of Charlotte, NC; mother-in-law, Mary Cooper (Donnie); uncles, Roger Langston Waldorf of MD, Keith Langston (Mary) of Concord, NC; aunts, Karen Langston-Byers of Concord, NC, Cheryl Langston of Washington, DC, Leah L. Carr (Floyd) of Concord, NC; a host of nieces, nephews and in-laws; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren. A memorial service to honor her life will be held at Forest Hills United Methodist Church in Concord, NC on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 11 AM, with Rev. Anita Sain and Rev’s. Dan and Martha Phillips officiating. A reception will be held after the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Forest Hills United Methodist Church at 265 Union Street North Concord, NC 28025 in Deborah’s honor.
