Deborah Jean McCleskey

Deborah Jean McCleskey, 70, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024.

 Debbie was born November 22, 1953 in North Carolina to the late Bobby Reynolds and Betty Jean Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale McCleskey.

Survivors include niece, Amanda McKenzie, (whom she affectionately referred to as "Bootsie"), husband, Thomas McKenzie, great-niece, Oaklyn McKenzie of Mount Pleasant, NC; and sister, Susan Reynolds.

Debbie retired from Wells Fargo (formerly Wachovia Bank) after 30 years of service and continued her hobbie of gardening, shopping, and reading. She had many titles in her life of: "Wife", "Aunt", "Cat Mother", and "Dog Mother". The one she held the highest in regard is her title of "Bebe" that Oaklyn dubbed her as a baby. Her bond with Oaklyn will forever be remembered by Oaklyn's memory of their "ritual good-bye" of: "WHO LOVES YOU?", "Bebe"; "WHO DO YOU LOVE", "Bebe"; "WHO LOVES YOU?", "Oaklyn"; "WHO DO YOU LOVE?", "Oaklyn".

Deborah was laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Park of Harrisburg, North Carolina.
